The $5.5 Billion Mistake
Recently The Motley Fool published an article I wrote about the biggest mistakes I see people make with their retirement investments. Take a few minutes to read the article and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear your comments and know if you have any additional mistakes you think we should tackle.

Scott,
Arthur Laffer wrote an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal the week of 6/7/10 in which he predicted a financial collapse in 2011 due to the expiration of the Bush tax cuts. I would love your perspective on this, especially as the year progresses, and wonder if Smart401K will factor in such opinions in Q4 recommendations.

Ken, thanks for your comment. As you probably know, we do a quarterly economic review for our recommendations. The Bush tax cuts has, and will continue to be, a factor in this analysis. Our quarterly newsletter outlines the major issues affecting the recommendations and is available shortly after the new allocations are delivered. As always, please feel free to contact our advisers at anytime if you would like to discuss how this will affect your retirement account.
